I'm honored to be a guest designer over at Liz Qualman's blog, "My Little Sketch Blook". Liz is super talented at creating sketches to inspire, and she has many designers working for her to design from her sketches.
This week is my first of three assignments with Liz. Here's a sneak peek:
I added a challenge to creating this layout from her sketch-- I decided to use products I have on hand. I'm beginning to own more scrapbooking product than I think I can use, so rather than buying new for this specific project, I went through all of my fun stash and found some things to work. I even used photos that I had printed and just waiting for inspiration.
It was fun to combine old and new, different manufacturers, etc. I used a wide variety of products including iron ons, brads, rub ons, letter and word stickers, acrylic, chipboard, felt ribbon... I felt like I got to be super creative to combine so many things that weren't created to go together!
So, go ahead and visit Liz's blog. I'm sure you'll see a lot of other creative scappers there too!

Beautiful work! I love the colors and the pictures are perfect! Great job. Happy Monday!
Awesome! That was such a fun afternoon and your layout really captures that. I'll have to tell Dan that he's now "famous"!
Angela your layout is awesome! I love the addition of the red to the snow scene, what a gorgeous touch! I also really like all the different snowflakes and the red ribbon weaving in the lace border.
Loove your take on Liz sketch!!
Congrats on being part of this unique designing opportunity! I'm so proud to have a famous scrapbooker in my circle of friends!
