So I finally completed a layout that was inspired by an ad I saw several months ago:
The journaling (more than the design) is what caught my eye. Sometimes others can just say it better than you can, right? (You can click on the images to make them larger and more readable.)Here's my traditional paper version (versus the digital pages I've been doing as of late):
Do you love this journaling? Steal it like I did!
And, do you have photos of your kids w/ their dad fishing... or even better, photos of you as a kid fishing with your dad? (Father's day is coming-- frame it and wrap it up for him!)

Grandma's Virtual Visit
Our family was disappointed to find out that Grandma wasn't going to be making a long-awaited trip to visit. So we decided to send a "visit" to her!
We packed her a suitcase full of photos taken during our daily activities and are sending it to her in the mail.
I thought I'd share with you some photos of the suitcase mini album and a couple of the layouts we included. The album is mainly designed with Photoshop Elements 6 (using various scrap elements from Designer Digitals and ScrapGirls.com plus some that I created myself). I used craft foam to fashion the outside of the suitcase and used ribbon and large brads to put the album together. If you have a specific question about supplies, leave me a comment and I can give you more info.
Here's to hoping the album will inspire Grandma to come visit anyway!!!
