Congratulations on your layout! That is so exciting. I adore your designs and have used one or two for myself. :)

Currently, I have no plans for Valentine's Day. But I think I will eventually make a card or two. Nothing fancy.

My girls have both taken a HUGE interest in cooking the last year or two. They love to wear these old Pamered Chef aprons of mine, so I decided they might need to step up their fashion while creating. I picked up some completely ADORABLE (think pink and browns and funky prints...like scrapbook paper on fabric) aprons for them! The best part...I got them at Ross. :)
Happy Valentines Day!

Congrats again! The layout is beautiful!
I think I'll "help" Lana make Valentine cards for her Grandparents and perhaps I'll do some experimenting with chocolate and cake for my Valentine.

First Congrats.
As for Valentine's Day, all my scrapbooking supplies are in storage while our house is being built. So I will have to buy my valentines this year. Although my husband and I will do date night at the Fur Ball for the Whitman County Humane Society.

I'm hoping to hand-make my Valentine's cards this year, but we'll see how much progress I get! I'm thinking of enlisting the help of my little-handed children for the design, but they may not be so willing...

Like all cards at my house recently, my Valentines preparations will probably be mostly glue, with a few bits of glitter that managed to stay out of the boys' hair and eyes. They do love to help!

Congrats on the published layout! I haven't really thought about Valentine's Day yet, but I'll probably make cards for my kids and husband, and a small candy treat for each of them.

Honestly, I haven't started thinking about Valentine's Day, but I better get to it. I'll probably make something simple for my "big kids" (aka college students) and MY kids and I love to make sugar cookies with lots of sprinkles.

Valentine's Day! If I start now the girls and I will be making homemade cards. I also want to make some fun Valentine's garland out of my scrapbooking paper. We'll see if that gets done though!

Congratulations on the magazine spread! You are definitely talented and certainly deserved the placement!

I always make my Valentines (last year I make my boyfriend a love note box - http://lacretiataylorpersonal.blogspot.com/2009/02/be-mine.html) but I'm struggling for inspiration this year - I'd love some ideas for other handmade gifts!

Congratulations on your published work. I look forward to seeing it. As for the answer to your Valentine's question....I haven't made any definate plans, but I am thinking of making little mailboxes with my kids to send little love notes to them. It's something I've never done before, but know they would really enjoy.

Plans, plans, plan. I have tons of plans to make fun things for my daughters preschool class for V-day and for my work pals and hubby but getting to them is another thing. Hopefully I can accomplish at least one planned activity.

I've only thought of what I'll make for my child to take to school for hand out. We are going to cover half of a TP tube with cuteness and of course it will be filled with candy.

Congrats on the layout in CK. I NEVER have plans for V-Day. Sometimes, I do a play for the awareness of domestic violence, but tend to "celebrate" love 9 days later on MY day!

Great Blog!

Congrats to you on your layout pub! It's very nice!

will make a handmade card for my DH of course. I also try to make it a fun day for the kids by putting a little giftie on their breakfast plate in the morning. usually store bought.

Congratulations on your layout!! I love Creating Keepsakes and how wonderful to have a local scrapbooker published in such a great magazine.
For Valentines Day, I am making cute Valentine Lollipop cards. They are so easy to make, I just love creating them. I'm also making some cute floral arrangements for our house. In our house we have a Valentine tree, which started when I was a little girl. I love to get my stamps out and create new ornaments every year with the kids.

Congrats on the layout! Love your blog, by the way... so creative.

My Valentine's Gift:

I've been working on an afghan for a long time for a good friend (not bf, but it will end up being given on V-Day, cuz it's convenient). It's one where you make the individual squares and then sew together, so it's been a long road to finally get the gift prepared to make. Very excited!

Again, love the blog.

Handmade cards of course!!

Just want to add my Congratulations on being published.

My kiddos are to old to hand out cards (20 & 18) so will forgo the valentine making, but I do have a tradition of making V-Day dinner with all red & pink foods. Dessert is always a heart shaped Red Velvet cake -- YUM-O. The blog hop has me "hopping to it" ... take care!
